Madeline Island Project

Water is a common chemical substance that is essential for the survival of all known forms of life.  As it cycles from the air to the land to the sea and back again, water shapes our planet and nearly every aspect of our lives.  It soothes the spirit and sustains the body; its beauty inspires my art.  People around the world employ it for rituals, ceremonies, sports and recreation; it bathes us from birth to death.  Water is an element that affects Madeline Island and has changed me for life.

Minneapolis based Photographer recognized for partnership with Wingspan Life Resources

I was awarded Wingspan's Community Partner Award for my contributions to their Annual Reports for the past 14 years. This is a great charity, they provide assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities and with Hmong elders. They provide housing and support so these individuals can have quality independent lives. Please check them out at: http://www.wingspanlife.org.
